Desmodium

Desmodium is a plant crawling or climbing of Africa whose sheets with three branches make think of clover. It is used since always in African traditional medicine against asthma, the digestive diseases, the jaundice… In Europe, the plant is known only since the years 1970 when the doctor Pierre Tubery brought it back in France.

Desmodium acts mainly like protective and stimulating liver . It has for example a beneficial effect in the event of excess of alcohol or particularly heavy meal.
