Shea Butter is a real natural cosmetic for dry and dehydrated skin .
It is used in the composition of body butters, face / lip care, hand care and hair care to which it serves as a thickener while providing its own virtues.

This butter was obtained by cold pressing of shea nuts followed by purification.
Use
Melt the Shea Butter in the oily phase of your cosmetic preparations or directly in the palm of your hand.
Melting point: 37 ° C.
Equivalence: 1 ml = 0.92 g.

- Dosage in hair care: 3 to 5%
- Dosage in a mask: up to 100% of the total weight.

- Aqueous phase:
- 40 ml of mineral water
- 20 ml of rose hydrosol
- 15 ml of aloe vera gel
- 0.8 g xanthan gum
- 0.4 g of potassium sorbate
- Oily phase:
- 10 ml of apricot kernel vegetable oil
- 10 ml of jojoba vegetable oil
- 4 g of oil-in-water emulsifier for creamy emulsion
- 2 g of shea butter
- 1 g of white beeswax
- 2 ml of vegetable glycerin
- Preservatives:
- Vitamin E (0.20%)
- Aromatic proportion (1-3%):
- Essential oil of rose geranium , lavender , palmarosa , cistus ...
Manual:
- Transfer the water phase, except the fresh aloe, to a bowl.
- In another bowl, transfer the oily phase.
- Heat the two phases separately in a water bath; the aqueous phase must not exceed 45 ° C in order not to degrade the properties of the hydrosol. The oily phase can reach 70 ° C.
- When the two phases are at the same temperature (+/- 40-50 ° C), take the bowls out of the water bath then slowly pour the aqueous phase into the oily phase without stopping stirring vigorously with a mini-whisk for about 3 minutes. The mixture whitens and homogenizes.
- Without stopping shaking, put the bowl in a bottom of cold water to speed up the cooling and the setting of the emulsion for another 3 minutes.
- Gradually add the Aloe vera, the preservatives and the aromatic part, mixing well between each addition.
- Transfer the preparation to your jar. Don't forget to label!
Leave in the fridge for 24 hours… it's a treat the next day!

J'ai déjà acheté le beurre de karité biflore. Mais celui ci est inutilisable tellement il sent mauvais, même en y mélangeant des huiles essentielles.
