Soft and non-polluting surfactant, coco-betaine is a very useful ingredient to make your own organic cosmetics (hand soap, foaming products, makeup remover ...).

Coconut-betain: the surface-active one of the sensitive skins


The coconut-betain of Bioflore is surface-active soft and not polluting present in many traditional cosmetic products. It is very well tolerated by the most sensitive skins and avoids irritations.

Practice

Coconut-betain is integrated at the end of the preparation, after having mixed aqueous phase and oily phase still hot. Gently add coconut-betain while mixing slowly not to make buller your preparation.
Proportioning: 2 to 8% of the total weight (1 to 3% for the make-up removers without rinsing)
Coconut betain isideal for the manufacturing of liquid soaps for the hands, gel cleaning for the face, of medical products, make-up removers without rinsing and foaming products.

Ingredients for 200 ml of shampoo:

Phase aqueous (70%):
Phase oily (10%): Tensioactifs (18,75%): Conservatives + aromatic share (1-3%):
Remarque:
Viscosity varies according to the added ingredients reason for which it is necessary to be precise in the weighings.
Possibly, you can add in aqueous phase of 3-5% of conditioning emulsifying such as for example of Stearamidopropyl dimethylamine for effect shampoo 2 into 1.
The presence of glycerin hydrates, softens and smooth the hair.
The vegetable oil of Jojoba nourishes and stops the fall of the hair, improves their brightness and their flexibility, controls secretions of sebum, adapted to all the types of hair.

Mode of employment:
1/ Transfer the Aqueuse phase in a container. Aloe will be added at low temperature, at the end of the preparation.
2/ Make heat this phase with soft fire with the bain-marie to the total cast iron of wheat proteins. Gently mix the whole throughout heating, until a maximum temperature of 40-45°C.
3/ In another container transfer the phase oily and made heat with bain-marie to reach the same temperature roughly as the aqueous phase. To mix well.
4/ Gradually incorporate the aqueous phase in the oily phase while mixing delicately using the minicomputer-whip. Add the surface-active ones gently. Slow agitation makes it possible not to too much make buller your preparation. When the preparation is tepid, add Aloe will vera.
5/ Add finally the conservatives and essential oils, while mixing always delicately between each addition.
6/ Transfer the preparation in its bottle using the small funnel so necessary.
