Nicknamed the dancing mushroom, Maitake is particularly recognized for its richness in polysaccharides called Beta 1,3-1,6 glucan.

Titrated dry extract of organic Maitake mushroom

Now cultivated, Maitake grows wild in Asia, Europe and the United States. Maitake was nicknamed "Dansing mushroom" because it was once so rare to find that those who picked it danced with joy when it was discovered.
