L'Ile aux Plantes

The Ile aux Plantes was founded in 1993 by horticulturist Pierre-Marie Gélineau, after meeting with Father Romano Zago, designer of a beverage based on aloe arborescens and honey, which he described the benefits in his book testimony entitled "Cancer can be cured".

Convinced, Pierre-Marie Gélineau decides to use all his know-how to create a plantation of Aloe arborescens in the Canary Islands, where all the ideal climatic and environmental conditions are met.

Over the years, the plantation has flourished and today benefits from innovative and plant-friendly cultivation techniques. It has also acquired organic certification in 2008. In Ile aux Plantes, the cultivation of Aloe arborescens is done in the ground (no greenhouses), without synthetic products or GMOs.

The aloe arborescens used for the manufacture of the products of the Island of Plants are from mature plants (5 to 10 years of age) and are harvested by hand .
