Kudzu is an Asian plant. Its roots are used in the culinary field as a food thickener. Kudzu has also been used in Chinese medicine for centuries, in particular to facilitate smoking cessation and the abandonment of harmful addictions (eg alcohol). Kudzu contains flavonoids and isoflavones.
