Physalis (Active ingredient)

The Ground cherries are small fruits oranges surrounded by a delicate envelope in the shape of lantern. They are originating in South America and they are also called "Currant of the course", "Love out of cage" or "Bays of the incas" (INCA berry). Often qualified "Super Fruit", the ground cherry is rich in vitamin C and antioxydants. It offers a soft and acidulous savor which makes it possible to easily incorporate it in a dessert, a yoghourt or muesli. Attention, only certain varieties of ground cherry are edible.
