The essential oil extracted the fruits (or “seeds”) from cumin is composed of a great quantity of aldehydes.

Properties

Its basic property is identical to that of other essential oils of umbellifers (dill, caraway, coriandre, fennel): it is aperitive and stimulates digestion. A difference in size with these last: the essential oil of cumin is calming and even sedative.

The principal flavor of Cumin is very powerful and comes from spice of the same name. Its intensity in limit the use.

Tips

To digest and well to sleep, add some drops of essential oil of Cumin in the juice of cooking of your couscous, at the end of the preparation. Better still, incorporate 1 or 2 drops in chickpea mashed potatoes, gustatory compatibility is perfect.
