The "Khus-khus"

Vetiver is a perennial plant in the form of herbaceous tufts. In Asia, it is used in furniture as well as in the kitchen, in perfumery and in pharmacies.

Trick

  • To make a perfume: mix 30 ml of hazelnut oil (or dry oil, or alcohol at least 80 °), 5 drops of vetiver essential oil and 2 drops of mandarin essential oil. The deep scent of vetiver will reveal a refreshing fragrance of myrrh and violet with hints of resin and wood.
  • To treat varicose veins or hemorrhoids: mix 2 drops of peppermint essential oil, 2 drops of evergreen cypress essential oil, 1 drop of pistachio lentisk essential oil, 1 drop of vetiver essential oil, 3 drops of inophyll calophyllous vegetable oil. Apply 4 to 6 drops of the mixture to the painful area 3 times a day until the symptoms disappear.

  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Unless otherwise authorized, do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and for children under 3 years old.
  • Store away from any source of heat and light.
