A panacea

This tree, which can be found in Madagascar, Australia or New Caledonia, provides an essential oil with a complex structure, used for a very long time in aromatherapy.

As in the case of eucalyptus globulus, it is important to pay attention to its aroma: intense, complex, camphoric, sulfur. Some lots give off a subtle aroma, in line with the complexity of niaouli. Others, on the other hand, reveal a sulfur aspect that is really excessive and uninviting at first glance.

The advice of the Aromatherapist, André Bitsas ( Body and Soul Aromatherapy, Editions Amyris, p. 70):
" Niaouli essential oil is antibacterial and antiviral . It is traditionally used at the respiratory level: it is an excellent anti-flu. "
" EO also manifests its antibacterial and antiviral efficacy at the genitourinary level. "
" Niaouli essential oil is also a venous decongestant , which will inevitably be found in a host of recipes for external use targeting poor venous return, heavy legs, varicose veins. "
" As a protection, it can be applied pure on the parts of the skin that will undergo radiotherapy . "

Dosage

  • External use: 4 drops of essential oil of niaouli in local friction, 3 times a day, for all the indications mentioned.

Trick

  • 1 drop of essential oil of niaouli in your night cream will be enough to make you benefit from its skin tonic action.
  • Cold sore : mix equal parts essential oils of niaouli and ravintsara. Apply one drop of the mixture, 3 times a day, for as long as needed.

  • Do not ingest.
  • Keep out of the reach of young children.
  • This product cannot replace a balanced diet.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose.
  • Unless otherwise authorized, do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and for children under 3 years old.
  • Store away from any source of heat and light.
  • Skin irritation possible in its pure state.
