A native of West Asia and Southern and Central Europe, clary sage is used primarily in the manufacture of liquors and perfumes. The Greeks, Romans and Arabs used it as a tonic and compresses against snake bites, while Egyptian women drank the juice to increase their fertility.

This essential oil is mainly used as a food supplement to invigorate circulation.

Dosage

1 drop 2 times a day in a teaspoon of honey diluted in warm infusion or in a fruit or vegetable juice.
