The manuka bush is a cousin of tea tree, which grows in the wild on the pristine lands of New Zealand.
Used for centuries by Maori healers, it is one of the most effective traditional medicine plants.

The index identifies a 15+ IAA Manuka honey which contains 514-695 mg of Methylglyoxal per kg of honey (the Methylglyoxal being one of the molecules responsible for nonspecific activity peroxidic Manuka honey).
