This type of rosemary is found on the island of Corsica and South Africa. Its essential oil is quite distinct from the other two chemotypes of the species - cineole and camphor - by its complexity: it contains monoterpenes, ketones (camphor in moderate amounts, but especially of the verbenone), an ester ( bornyl acetate) and 1.8 cineole, the content of which is very low this time.
- Botanical family of lamiaceae or labiae
- Latin name: Rosmarinus officinalis verbenoniferum
