Guayapi's Urucum awakens your skin to the sun: it prepares it for tanning and protects it.

Amazonian Indians use Urucum to protect themselves from the sun and mosquitoes by applying it directly to the skin, hence the name "red skin".

Urucum has a high content of alpha and bixin (provitamin A): 3.2% of Urucum (bixin is similar to beta-carotene).
