Maca is a plant grown in the highlands of the Andes, is one of the few plants able to withstand extreme weather conditions aloft.

Maca Flamant Vert is traditionally prepared by small producers in central Peru, it is dried and then pulverized.
Fair trade Maca Flamant Vert is purchased from a group of small farmers in the highlands, this enables them to sell their produce at a higher price to local courses and benefit from free technical support.
Organic Certification Since 2008, Maca these producers are certified organic. Flamant Vert participates in their efforts by funding every year some of the costs of organic certification.
