The Melanin is a natural pigment of the skin whose concentration in particular contributes to determine the color of our hair and our eyes. The main role of this pigmentation is to protect our skin against radiations UV (especially UVB) and the effects of the sun. The melanin can be taken in the form of food supplement in order to preparation the skin before an exposure to the sun. It also supports a uniform bronzing.
