The Hildegarde de Bingen brand refers to the Benedictine, Abbess and iconic woman, Hildegarde of Bingen (1098-1179) and who, in the Middle Ages, laid the foundations of an alternative medicine similar to Indian Ayurveda (which tends to establish human health on the following dimensions: body, mind and soul) or to the traditional Chinese medicine.

It influenced all Europe in the political, philosophical and medical fields.
