Goldenseal (Active ingredient)

Hydraste of Canada is a plant equipped with rhizomes used in the traditional pharmacopeia of the Amerindians. Hydraste produces alkaloids, of which hydrastine and the known berbérine to fight several kinds of bacteria and mushrooms. The hydraste enters the composition of certain food supplements intended to support the immune system.
