Chicken with ginger caramel (ingredients for 4 people)

• 4 chicken breasts or turkey fillets
• 2 tbsp. acacia honey
• 1 C. Terra Madre Ginger Powder

• 1 C. Terra Madre Black Pepper
• 1 C. soup of soy sauce
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 tbsp. tablespoon of olive oil
• some fresh ginger (optional)
• salt and pepper

1 / Squeeze garlic, mix with oil, soy sauce, all spices (except black pepper) and honey.
2 / Coat the meat with this mixture and marinate for at least 1 hour. Brown the meat in a casserole with a little hot oil.
3 / Cover and simmer on low heat for 30 minutes possibly adding some water if it caramelizes too quickly.
4 / At the end of the cooking, add the green pepper and optionally the grated fresh ginger. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5 / Serve with steamed vegetables or basmati rice .
