Fragonia: balancing essential oil
The Fragonia is a very beautiful shrub with abundant flowers, native to the southwest of Australia. Member of the same botanical family of myrtaceae, it has points in common with tea tree and myrtle. The same comparison holds biochemically; in addition, the alpha-terpineol + cineole couple makes a comparison with ravintsara relevant. What brings the fragonia closer to the latter is a lively, oxygenating aroma, with fruity and floral notes. To describe the fragonia, both botanically, aromatically and biochemically, the word "balance" is systematically required.
