Rosewood: antibacterial & tonic


After a lengthy marketing ban, rosewood back by limited batches. The traditional distillation of wood (the trunk) participated in the accelerated disappearance of the species. The released batches therefore concern another producer organ twigs and leaves, a choice which does not compromise the survival of the tree instead of the old practice. The overall biochemistry is preserved, the majority linalool still very recognizable olfactory imprinting its mark among all.

Indication

  • Botanical family Lauraceae.
  • Latin name: Aniba parviflora or roasaeodora.
  • Essential oil obtained by distillation of leafy branches.

Properties

  • Through its high percentage of linalool, the essential oil of rosewood is antibacterial.
  • In combination, it fights genitourinary infections.
  • It is a good tonic muscle.
  • It is an excellent skin tonic, able to prevent the development of wrinkles and firm the skin.
  • Thanks to the presence of linalool, rosewood is a remarkable anti-stress weapon

Use

Rosewood essential oil can be used to treat respiratory problems in babies and young children.

  • linalool 80%
  • benzyl benzoate 1.6%
  • alpha-terpineol 0.75%
  • and hundreds of minor constituents
