Tea tree is an Australian tree to the thorny foliage that grew originally in swampy areas and is now grown on a large scale for the production of essential oil.

During World War II, the health authorities of the Australian Army soldiers were distributing their tree essential oil bottles tea use if skin trouble.

Melaleuca alternifolia
  • Distilled part: leaves and terminal branches
  • Chemotype: terpinen-4-ol, alpha and gamma terpinenes
  • Distillation: vapor low pressure water
  • Origin: South Africa
  • Yield: 100 kg per 1 kg of essential oil

Special precautions

  • Dr. Valnet warned against blends of essential oils that anarchic may cause interactions going against the desired effect.
