Green Tangerine: Soft and soothing


Brazil offers us this abundant organic green mandarin. Its distinctive aroma is appreciated, though significantly less fruity, less tender than the red mandarin.
However, the biochemistry of green mandarin and red mandarin are broadly comparable.

The advice of the Aromatherapist André Bitsas ( Aromatherapy Body and Soul, Editions Amyris, p. 99):
"The essence of tangerine has the same properties as that of the sweet orange (soothing). However, it is more effective in inducing sleep. External operating modes - atmospheric diffusion, anointing bath - allow to take advantage of all its features. It can replace or supplement, by the internal decision. 2 drops 2 drops in the evening and before bed "

Dosage

  • External: 2 drops of essential oil of tangerine + 2 drops of vegetable oil hazelnut friction on the inner wrist or the solar plexus nerve pathologies.

Trick

  • Disseminate mandarin essential oil in a child's room, 15 minutes before bedtime, encourage sleep.
  • The bath little annoyed: for children (from 6 years) who are struggling to regain composure and fall asleep, mix 5 drops of essential oil of mandarin essential oil and 5 drops of lavender in a cup of whole milk. Pour the mixture into the bathtub faucet and let your child enjoy this moment for ¼ hour before drying and bedtime.
