Myrrh: comforting essential oil


Myrrh is inseparable from frankincense, or incense. And like the latter, it has been used for 4,000 years as a medicine and in religious ceremonies. The distilled resin is used to extract an essential oil of yellow-orange color that tends to congeal. Get rid of your dropper bottle, which would be ineffective to collect this essential oil of pasty consistency, and limit the maximum time of exposure to air. The sweet myrrh consists mainly of sesquiterpenes.
