Very high sun protection for sensitive skin

Thanks to its mineral UV filters without nano particles , SPF 50 Baby & Kids Sunscreen offers high protection to the fragile skin of the youngest. This fragrance-free sun care contains organic edelweiss extract as well as organic sunflower and coconut oils that preserve the moisture of the skin.

Did you know? Nano particles are tiny particles whose size is less than 100 nanometers (100 millionths of a millimeter). Nanotechnologies are used in cosmetics, for example in sun creams with mineral filters, to reduce the whitening effect of these filters. But nanoparticles are a growing concern because there is still not enough knowledge about their potential harmful effects. Weleda has therefore voluntarily turned to non-nano mineral filters in order to exclude any potential risk and to propose a product that is as safe as possible .

Indication

Weleda sun care is inspired by edelweiss flowers that are able to protect themselves from intense sun on the top of the mountains.
The edelweiss extract found in Weleda sunscreens has anti-radical properties.

Trick

After application, Weleda sunscreens leave a slightly white glossy film on the skin as they contain exclusively non-nano mineral UV filters whose larger particles reflect the sun's rays.

No preservatives, dyes or synthetic fragrances. Without mineral oil.
