Butternut squash is a pear-shaped squash with a creamy rind and orange flesh, dense, tender and tasty. Its conservation is exceptional since it lasts from 6 to 12 months!

Sow seeds 2 cm deep every 1 m approximately. Water generously. A week after your sowing, the emergence is done. The butternut is a runner (it stretches! Leave room!) But its particularity is to offer few twists.
For harvesting, the ripe fruits must be picked. How do you know? Quite simply when the peduncle becomes woody, approximately 105 days after sowing. The fruits weigh between 1.5 to 2.5 kg.
