Bergamot is used against stress, anxiety, but also to facilitate digestion, fight against constipation, ... It also serves as a relaxing atmosphere scent.

Sweet and scented

Bergamot trees are found in the Mediterranean basin and in West Africa. The pressed zest gives us an essence containing monoterpenes, but also esters and monoterpenols.

This relative complexity gives it a place apart among other rutaceae (orange, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin ...), and is expressed by a much more nuanced aroma: not only fruity, but also hot and slightly spicy. The scent of this variety is less intense than that of the African variety.

Dosage

External: for diseases of the nervous system, 3 to 4 drops of essential oil of bergamot on the arch, the inner side of the wrists, on the solar plexus or on both sides of the spine.

Trick

A deodorant whose scent will lift your spirits or calm a small family tension: mix 1 drop of bergamot essential oil, 2 drops of lavender essential oil and 2 drops of grapefruit essential oil.
A natural perfume: 3 drops of essential oil of bergamot, 1 drop of essential oil of incense , 1 drop of sandalwood essential oil, 2 drops of tangerine essential oil and 100 drops of vegetable oil of jojoba .
