Deep sorrow, loneliness.
Chestnut (No. 30): relieve his pain and despair Properties
Sweet Chestnut is for the heartbreaking anguish described by Dr. Bach as "the total despair of those who feel they have reached the limit of their endurance." It may be a deep sorrow, and people who suffer have the impression of being virtually destroyed. This reduction is accompanied by a feeling of loneliness and the feeling that the future is bleak and hopeless.
These people, without being suicidal, can feel the edge of a nervous breakdown and sometimes feel that God abandoned them.
This anxiety can manifest after a bereavement, or after many difficult years endured bravely and without complaint.
The positive potential of Sweet Chestnut is the relief of suffering, despair and depression. External circumstances, which may not have changed, can now be faced calmly and with peace of mind. Or regain the faith, and a sense of being supported internally, can contribute to this change.
