Amalaki (Active ingredient)

Amalaki (or Amla) is the edible fruit of a tree from India. Very popular in ayurvedic medicine, Amalaki is also called ' Nepalese currant ' or ' Indian currant '. Rich in flavonoids and in polyphenols, this fruit has an antioxidant power which contributes to the protection of the cells of ageing. Cleansing, Amalaki also applies a positive action on the digestive system.
