Dried plant of passionflower bio
Passionflower (or passion flower) is a creeper plant that originally was found in Peru and Mexico. Nowadays, it is found in the Mediterranean and in the south of France.
The South American Indians used Passionflower as a calming and antispasmodic. Chemists, on the other hand, have discovered flavonoids and alkaloids that act directly on the central nervous system. Its biggest advantage: it does not lead to addictions. This is why she is often advised to treat sleep disorders and relax.
