Sweet mint: soothing essential oil


Bioflore spearmint essential oil contains a lot of carvone, a ketone. It has an original personality not devoid of interest and an odor recognizable among all: that of chewing gum chlorophyll.

The essential oil of sweet mint:
  • Promotes digestion (it has the same dominant ingredient as dill or caraway ).
  • Is anti-catarrhal and mucolytic.
  • Helps to clear congested airways.
  • Possesses calming properties in the cerebellum and medulla oblongata (according to P. Franchomme).
  • Is astringent.
  • Helps healing.
  • Is an excellent tensor.

use

This essential oil is used:
  • In culinary aromatherapy
  • In cosmetic aromatherapy
  • In diffusion (always in small part because it is qualified as masking agent, that is to say that it will reduce or mask the basic odor of your composition)

  • Use spearmint to flavor chocolate.
