Quinoa is a seed of the goosefoot family (like spinach) equivalent to a share of its nutritional composition cereal.
Red quinoa is a different variety white quinoa, but equally ancient. It grows spontaneously on the Bolivian Altiplano.
The red color is on the envelope of the grain while the grain remains inside the white. This feature creates a nice effect after firing by calling bicolor dishes.
A consomemr hot or cold, alone or mixed.
Rinse and cook 1 part quinoa to 2 parts water, covered, for 12 to 15 minutes and season with salt.
