La Bruyère is a small shrub with evergreen leaves and small purple, pink or white flowers. There are more than 400 varieties but the most used for its medicinal properties is the wild heather "Calluna vulgaris".
Bruyère contains a powerful antiseptic of the urinary tract and is therefore considered one of the best remedies for urinary problems. Bruyère flowers are most often used as a decoction.

use
- Infusion : Infuse 3 to 5 g of Bruyère flowers in 1/2 liter of water for about 10 minutes.
- Maceration (external use): put 5 to 8 g of plants in 1/2 liter of water and keep boiling for 15 minutes. Let stand for 4 to 5 hours in the same water and filter.
