This essential oil is effective against respiratory, intestinal and digestive problems and rheumatism.

Properties

Use

  • Respiratory: put a few drops in a bowl of hot water. Cover your head with a towel, lean nose over the bowl and breathe as possible to steam for 5-10 minutes. You can also put a few drops on a handkerchief and breathe regularly while avoiding contact with the skin.
  • Digestive and intestinal problems: put 3 drops on a compress moistened with warm water, apply it on the belly.
  • Rheumatism: dilute 2 drops with 20 ml of vegetable oil. Massage the concerned areas.

Special precautions

  • Do not use the essential oil of anise (of Star Anise) if canceroses (in women), mastoses, pregnant women or nursing, in babies or children.
  • Do not perform full body massage with essential oil.
  • Do not use in concentrated and form over a prolonged period.
  • Keep out of reach of young children.
  • Keep away from sources of heat and light.
